This 50 yo Medford, new jersey avid golfer was only concerned with her upper lip wrinkles. Wrinkling of the upper lip happens to 35% of patients who never smoked.
The very best procedure to remove upper lip wrinkles is CO2 laser resurfacing.
She did not want to undergo CO2 laser resurfacing because she knew she wouldn’t wear sunblock enough on the golf course for the required 3 months after surgery.
Our chosen surgical alternative was fat transfer to the upper lip,
After her surgery she was much happier, and this lasted for at least 1 year.
1 year later she proceeded with a full face fat transfer and CO2 laser skin resurfacing, which was done with an upper and midface lift, which was done endoscopically with small incision scalp incisions to fully restore her youthful appearance.
She moved to Arizona, and returned for her 8 month post op photo, admitting she would be back in 5 years for another skin resurfacing procedure to tighten her wrinkles in 5-10 years, as she loves the sun.
She was thrilled that she didn’t have to wear foundation anymore, and loved her facial fullness, since it restored her youthful look. Even more surprising to her was how much she loved her eyes, even though she had no eyelid skin incisions.
