For some people, the effects of facial aging are the most troublesome in the upper face, which is the forehead, eyebrow and upper eyelid. This creates deep forehead furrows, and droopy eyebrows that descend into the upper eyelid space making them look saggy, worsening the crow's feet. A brow lift for our Philadelphia and New Jersey patients can help restore a more youthful look to the upper face and eyelids, and may postpone the need for incisional upper eyelid surgery.
The brow lift procedure
Also called an upper face lift or forehead lift, this procedure is performed through a series of tiny incisions hidden within the scalp. This procedure can be done with local anesthesia and oral sedation alone, and most patients are back to work in 3 or 4 days.
An endoscopic browlift is often performed with an endoscopic mid-face lift to "more naturally" restore your upper and midface, eyelids and cheekbones. In many cases, the brow lift postpones the need for upper eyelid surgery, or blepharoplasty.
After a brow lift, our Philadelphia and New Jersey patients look younger, more refreshed and alert. The minimal incision techniques used at the Hughes Center for Aesthetic Medicine minimize scarring, discomfort and downtime, with natural looking results that last.
